Mediocre tacos. Got charged 55 dollars for 5 chicken tacos and 4 birria tacos because they rang it up wrong. Had to get a refund even tho the counter service could barely understand me. Chicken tacos were super dry and birria is completely sub par. Salsa was the only good thing. Save your time and money. Wish I could get a refund.
I do NOT recommend this place for smothered anything. The green chili they use for the smothered is just a green tomato salsa with absolutely no flavor, the beans used have more (manteca)-grease- then actual beans and also no flavor. My husband hated the menudo and the gordita he ordered. The rice taste isn't good either it just taste like salt but not salty we also ordered the chili cheese fries and they are shy on the cheese part, also flavor less. I didn't finish my food after I tasted it and I hate waisting food. Also pricing was okay 46 dollars for 9 items but on the recipe they gave us it said we ordered 16 items. Allot of the review's for this place like the tacos but I will not be coming back to see if it's true.
First time I tried these tacos I was amazed! By the suadero and how authentic it tasted and the salsas were spicy too! Which I love, I don't come often sense it's a 35min drive for me but recently went back and I don't know recognize them anymore! The salsas weren't spicy as usual and the suadero did not taste anything like it's supposed to😢
Tacos were pretty good
Service was meh
Place felt dirty and sticky, bathroom out of service but sign looked pretty old which tells me its been like that for a while or they just don't let customers use it.
This place is shockingly bad. I mean everything, from the service to the food to the high prices, was no good. My son had the chicken nachos, which was basically bagged chips, canned nacho cheese, and small pieces of DRY chicken. The absolute worst thing though was the chili relleno. I wish I had the words to describe the taste and texture. It was spongy, chewy, and tasted of chemicals. I can't imagine what would cause this taste but it was foul. I would not recommend going here and am sorry I ever did.
Really good food, I loved it! I recommend you to try the Guarache with any meat w it.
So... We tried to go local and this is local Latin/Mexican fare.I liked what I ordered but others in our party that either weren't well versed or were timid were not fans of theirs. The ham and hot dogs on the burger threw my kids off, but we just set them aside (I ate them). My tacos were good. They have a good variety. Cane sugar Cokes are nice. The format has changed completely from when we came here a couple of years ago. It's no longer like a sit down, wait service restaurant. It's more like counter order. I enjoy the food more now. They seem attentive to keep it clean, but it still feels like cafeteria style. Some may not be into that. I like the veggies bar. Good way to load up and in a healthy way (cucumber, radishes, pickled veggies and jalapeno , and 3 sauces... Green, red, and crema lime/cilantro) good stuff. I wish they would've explained the outside grill. There are no prices on the menu either, but 4 of us spent ~$50.
Do not go here !!! We ordered tacos de asada and the meat was grey & it had a nasty taste to it the tacos de al pastor were bland and so were the tacos de carnitas. Don’t waste your time find a different taco spot. And all the workers there look miserable to be there. Horrible food and costumer service !!!!
